Self/less review

Posted : 4 years, 7 months ago on 3 September 2019 05:31 (A review of Self/less)

I've got to know Tarsem Singh because "The Fall", which i think it's been his only masterpiece which makes Self/Less looking like quite a disaster.
The plot could anyway make this film an at least decent one, maybe nothing new but decent and I love Sci-fi usually.
Instead there is nothing that works in it, characters are not beleivable and it is predictable and trivial.
I guess I maybe expected too much.

could have been interesting but it's badly made

Posted : 8 years ago on 27 March 2016 10:16 (A review of Under The Dome)

The concept could be interesting but gets mediocre and pathetic quite quickly.
Bunch of people remains trapped under a dome and becomes a continuous loop of bad and good actions by the main characters. They conspire and kill like nothing and just get re accepted and then happens the same to their counterparts and again and again viceversa with no end. Characters not believable after some episodes and quite superficial and obvious. And the "romantic" relationships in the story are just ridiculous like other aspects of the life in a little town in that situation.

Automata review

Posted : 8 years, 5 months ago on 11 November 2015 12:58 (A review of Automata)

I disagree with some bad reviews. I never liked Banderas that much, he was often in not worthy films. I expected much less from this one and I had a surprise. Not because of him of course, but because the entire story. As someone mentioned already, it is interesting and with some touching moment. While I found Ex-Machina much less interesting and deep compare to Automata. Worth to watch it.
